Bill Richardson was raised in Albuquerque, N.M where he earned a BBA from UNM (1975) before completing degrees in New Testament (1981) and in Preaching and Church Growth (1991) at Abilene Christian University. He had completed 21 years of ministry experience as a youth minister, education minister, pulpit minister, missionary in Guatemala, Argentina, and Chile prior to beginning his career as a Bible professor and administrator at Harding University in 1995. He retired in December 2020 and was promoted to Emeritus Professor of Bible and Missions. He currently serves as a shepherd with Downtown Church of Christ while actively serving with La Casita, a Hispanic Church of Christ, as a frequent preacher and teacher. Bill has been married to Holly for over 40 years and they have two daughters, a son-in-law, and two grandchildren.
